Here’s a little bit more about me.
I don’t use photography only as a way of self-expression – I feel like the moment, the people, the situation; they all speak to me and I suddenly feel the urge to capture them. Whenever I get this urge to freeze this moment in time, I see it in a certain way in my mind, and I try as best as I can to make it look as close to my that as possible when I take the shot.
Photography itself doesn’t just speak to me; it communicates with me and each moment tells me how it would love to be shown after I’ve captured it.
I don’t choose my subjects; my subjects choose me. I feel a connection to whatever it is I’m photographing and that’s what helps me create an image. I feel connected the most to nature and people, as they’re both completely unique, and we might try to change them but they’ll always remain absolutely unmatched.
What drives me to take these photographs is a feeling of freezing moments in time. Each of these moments is special to me and I always want this feeling to be transmitted to the viewer. I want them to feel something when looking at my photographs. It doesn’t necessarily have to what I felt, it just has to be something. I try using minimalism in my photographs, as too much at once makes me feel uneasy.
Documenting not only a moment but a story is my goal.
